New Player Guide

If you’re new to Jamul Casino, the quickest path to better perks starts before your first bet. Head to Guest Services and join Sweetwater Rewards right away - it’s the key that powers most promos, point-earning, and kiosk redemptions across the floor. Keep your card handy and use it every session so your play actually counts toward free play, entries, and food offers.

Want a quick overview of the property before you arrive? Check the Jamul Casino page once, then build your plan around the promos that match how you like to play.

New Member Boost: The Scratch-Off That Can Pop Big

One of the best first-day plays isn’t even a machine - it’s the Sweetwater Scratch-Off for new Sweetwater Rewards members. After you enroll at Guest Services, you’ll receive a scratch game with prizes up to $25,000. It’s a simple add-on that can instantly turn “checking the place out” into “I’m glad I showed up today.”

Easy Extra Value: Turn Your Ride Into Free Slot Play

Getting to the casino can pay you back. With Take a Ride on Us, you can score up to $15 in free slot play when you bring an Uber or Lyft receipt to Guest Services and opt in. It’s a low-effort way to start with extra spins on the house - especially useful if you’re testing games and figuring out what you like.

Weekly Free Play + Food: Two Reliable Promos to Know

If you like steady perks, Jamul runs offers that reward you for simply putting in a little time on the floor (as long as you’re earning points).

Primetime Perks (Mondays) stacks value quickly - earn 30 points and you can receive $10 free play plus a free meal from the PrimeTime Perks menu. The window runs 6: 00 AM to 12: 00 AM, so you’ve got plenty of time to qualify.

Stars and Stripes Saturdays follows the same structure for military and first responders - earn 30 points for $10 free play plus a free meal from the Stars and Stripes menu, available Saturdays, 6: 00 AM to 12: 00 AM.

Important detail for new players: promos that require points or entries commonly exclude poker play, so focus your qualifying play on eligible casino action.

Drawings and Prize Drops: When Your Points Do More

Some of Jamul’s biggest moments come from promos that convert your play into entries automatically. The common mechanic is simple - earn points, generate entries, then show up when the prizes are live. Also watch for Tuesdays with 2x entries, which can speed up your entry count without changing your routine.

Examples to keep on your radar when schedules are active:

• Spin the Triple 7 Prize Wheel (Mondays in May) - winners spin for $500 to $10,000 cash prizes.
• Win a Mercedes Benz (Mondays in April) - prizes can include cash or keys to a new 2026 Mercedes Benz .
• $30,000 Guaranteed - multiple draws with ten $500 winners and one $10,000 winner in each drawing hour, with entries earned through point play during the qualifying period.

If you’re the type who likes big-event energy, plan a visit around these promo dates and give yourself time to earn entries before the drawing window.

Hot Seat Action: Show Up During the Drop and Let It Hit

Hot seat promos can be some of the most electric sessions on the floor because the timing is tight and the payouts are immediate. One example: San Diego’s Biggest Barbecue: $25,000 Hot Seats offered up to $1,000 free play every 10 minutes during a set Saturday time block, triggered by slots or table games play. The key lesson for new players is to align your play with the promo hours - being early matters.

Gift Giveaways That Flex: Take the Item or Grab Free Play

Jamul also runs Sweetwater Rewards Gift Giveaways for invited guests, with an alternative route if you aren’t invited. In some cases, you can qualify by earning points on the day - 50 points for Wednesday/Thursday gifts or 150 points for Sunday gifts - then redeem at a promotional kiosk. When a free play option is available at redemption, you can choose the value that fits your session best.

Quick Setup Checklist Before You Play

Start with three basics and you’ll avoid most rookie mistakes: sign up for Sweetwater Rewards, ask Guest Services what’s live today, and always use your card so your play counts. From there, pick one promo lane - new member scratch-off, weekly points-for-perks, or drawing entries - and focus on it for your first visit so the rewards stack faster. If you want help choosing which offer fits your style, email support@jamulcasino.com and ask what’s currently running and how to qualify.
